FATAL COLLISION

BUNNYTHORPE ROAD TRAGEDY. I Per Press Association. I PALMERSTON, N., May 17. At. the inquest on William Graham, otherwise known as Hopeta Kereama. 33, married, a Maori of Awahuri, who died following a collision between two motor-cycles on the main FeildingBunnythorpe road on February 14. it was stated that one machine was ridden by Gordon Leslie Thompson, ami the other by Sydney Graham, who was accompanied by deceased and another Maori. After lengthy evidence the coroner returned a verdict that death was due to laceration of the brain following a collision. He said the evidence revealed that the Maori party were in an intoxicated condition and Sidney Graham was apparently unfit to have charge of the machine. He was not licensed and there was no light on the machine. Apparently the accident was caused through the condition of (Jtahaiu.
