WEDDING
STOUT—BASSETT. Residents of Wanganui will be interested to hear of the marriage on April 17 of Miss Jean Barbara Bassett, elder daghter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Bassett, of Remuera, Auckland, to Mr. Kenneth Stout, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stout, of Invercargill, and nephew of the late Sir Robert Stout. Mr. and Mrs. Bassett were formerly 'residents of Wanganui, as were Mr and Mrs. John Bassett, the bride’s grandparents. The bridesmaids were Misses Man jorie Stout (Invercargill) and Ruth Bassett, and Mr. Leslie (Auckland) was in attendance on the bridegroom. About 50 guests from many parts of New Zealand attended the ceremony and the reception afterwards.
