GENERAL NEWS The work of tar-sealing the BullsTurukina Road was resumed on Monday, and good progress is being made during the spell of fine weather. Great interest is being taken in the senior Rugby match, Bulls v. Rata, to be played at Rata on Saturday next. The Bulls team will be strengthened by the inclusion of Cameron (full-back) and Simpson (half-back), and the game is sure to bo an exciting one. There was a fairly good attendance at the Croquet Club’s “500” card party on Tuesday afternoon, and the winner was Mrs D. Howard. RUGBY Ohingaiti and Bulls juniors met on Bulls Domnin yesterday in line weather. Ohingaiti won by 19 points to 5. In the first spell Corbett and James (2) scored tries for Ohingaiti, all from passing runs. Bartlett made good, but ineffectual efforts to add the major points. Ohingaiti set a warm pace after half-time, and Bartlett and Nelmes added tries in good positions. Bartlett converted both. Bulls forwards then played up strongly, and Brown elit through for a good try. which Stock converted. Bulls continued to press and were unlucky to miss scoring again. Ohingaiti 19; Bulls 5. Mr W. E.
