PUKEROA SCHOOL. High tributes to tho popularity of Mr. W. Clovely, sole teacher nt I’ukcroa, were paid by parents of tho district. who gave Mr. Clovely a very enjoyablo afternoon tea. Air. Clovely, who has been relieving teacher for the past term, has received notice of transfer. During his stay in tho district he has made many friends, organised dances, and proved very popular with the children, and his approaching departure is deeply regretted by all. Mrs. J. D. Lilburn rendered a song which was much appreciated by all. Air. Long, of Nelson, has received notice of transfer to Pukeroa School.
