FOOTBALL The game bet;vcen Hukaroe and OnaLan* resulted in a win for Hukaroa by 37 points to 6. Clcmett was the first to score by putting over a fine goal. Thompson secured and dummied a pass and scored the first try, bringing the score: Hukaroa 6; Ohakune 3. The ball soon became very greasy and after several line-outs. Ohakune was awarded a free kick and Clemett put the ball over, equalising the score. After half-time, Haitana scored, and later on the other brother Haitana stored and converted, bringing the score up to 14. Rangi Wilson was the next to get away and he brought the score up to: Hikaroa 17; Ohakune 6. Mr J. Petterson acted as referee.
