SUCCESSFUL DOG TRIALS. The Alangaweka Dog Trials were held on May 3. 4,5, Mr. A. C. Morton, Ohingaiti, acting as judge. There was a good attendance, although the weather was far from favourable, and excellent entries, especially in the huntaway. Practically all the best huntfl way dogs on this coast competed. The sheep, which were lent by Mr. W. J. Polson, worked wonderfully well. Mrs. Archer, with the assistance of the other ladies of the district- once again capably attended to the catering.
