ALLOCATIONS ANNOUNCED. £lO.OOO FOR RELIEF OF DISTRESS. [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, May 5. Allocations from the Great Easter art union were announced by the Hon. J. A Young this evening as follow: £lO,OOO to the relief of distress througout New Zealand, £3OO to the trustees of the National Art Gallery and the Dominion Museum for the “Peat” collection of kauri gum and Maori curios. 350 for tho Waikato Children's Camp League. £5OO fur the Wellington Children ’• Camp Association. £lOO for the Christchurch Sunshine League Camp. £lOO for Mrs. Marshall Macdonald’s Waikouaiti Children’s Health Camp, Dunedin. £3OO for the Rev. T.eslie B. Neale’s Company Bay Choldren’s Camp. £l5OO for the Central Otago Gold Miners’ Prospecting Association. £5OO for the United Fire Brigades’ Association. Tho £lO,OOO for the relief of distress is to be made available on a pro rata basis to the centres showing unemployed registrations of 30 and over on March 18.
