SOVIET SENTENCES. STATIONMASTER TO Dll.. MOSCOW, Oct. 31. The wrecking of the Black Sea <x press on October 16, killing 36 people and injuring 51, was revealed in an in nouncement of the sentence of death by shooting of Bulakov, stationmaster who was accused of interfering with the work of Vanteev, a station olli ■ tl on duty, by arbitrarily signalling th • line clear while it was occupied by an other train. Vanteev was sentenced t » eight years’ imprisonment for allowing Bulakov to interfere, and Kasavov watchman, to six years’ gaol. The sentence of death by shouting i> •lescribed as the highest form of social defence.
