Mollison and Miss Amy Johnston were married at St. George’s in Hanover Square. Kathleen, Countess of Drogheda, pioneer airwoman, gave the bride away and Lieut.-Colonel Shelmerdine was best man. Mr Mollison wore a grey lounge suit and Miss Johnson was simply dressed in black. A great crowd of admirers mobbed the couple leaving the church. Miss Johnsoif’s parents arrived too late “or the wedding. Miss Johnson says that she and her husband are determined that neither will interfere with the other’s flying plans. Mr Mollison, when he returns after the Atlantic flight, will fly with Amy in slow stages to Australia.
