DATE NOT YET FIXED MR. MELLON’S OPINION WASHINGTON, July 27. Doubt that the proposed World Economic Conference can be held before the late autumn was expressed to-day by trie Ambassador to London (Mr. A. W. Mellon), who said that he thought the Conference could not be held in the immediate future because Britain was occupied with tho Ottawa Conference, and such a parley would entail much preparatory work.
