FOOD DICTATOR
CALIFORNIA'S MOVE GLUT OF FRUIT SAN FRANCISCO, July 16. So great has become the glut of oranges and other fruits in California that the Governor, Mr. James Rolph. has appointed a food dictator. Tons of fruit are dropping from the trees and rotting on the ground. The new official will supervise the gathering of the huge surplus of oranges and peaches and sell them for the picking charges to various charity bureaus throughent the United States.
