TRADE DISCRIMINATION.

SUGGESTION OF ARBITRATION. [ British Official Wireless.] Received June 29, 7.5 p.m. RUGBY. June 28. Asked in the House of Commons, today whether retaliatory action against Germany was being considered on the grounds that the British coay export .trade was subjected by the ‘Germans to unfair discrimination, the Secretary for Overseas Trade. Mr. Colvplle. replied that the German Government did not admit that their action involved discrimination against -the United Kingdom and had proposed that the matter hr referred to Arbitration, in accordance with the arbitration clause of the Anglo-Germad Commercial Treaty of 1924. at the same time as certain other treaty questions out standing between the tw» Governments. That proposal was now receiving consideration, concluded Mr. Col viUc.
