McKELVIE At Tuesday’s meeting of the Manawatu County Council, a vote of sympathy with the relatives was car ried in silence. Crs. W. E. Barber and J. H. Perrett, in speaking to the motion. paid tributes to the sterling character of the deceased lady. THE LATE MR C. W. WHITE The late Mr C. W. White, whose death is announced from Palmerston North, was well known in football circles in this district, and general regret is expressed at his passing. When the Te Kawau Sub-Union was formed Mr White was ever ready to give his valued advice
