PERCENTAGE REDUCTION FRENCH PREMIER AGREEABLE Received June 14, 10.20 p.m. PARIS, June 14. It is reported that DI. Herriot iswilling to agree at Geneva to a rcduc tion of French military expenditure from 5 to 10 per cent. This is already envisaged among the proposals to balance the Budget. It is affirmed that Mr. MacDonald if ready to propose a 10 or 15 years’ armaments holiday and he may urge th< Powers formally to reaffirm their ad herence to the Ke’log Pact, as ho be licves that this will create confidence, making possible an armaments agreement.
