PUBLICITY
Sir, —It was with pleasure I read your leading article one day this week in connection with this charge against a vicar in the Old Country. I heartily agree with you that it should not be possible for this sort of thing to go on in a Christian church, especially as this state of affairs had been going on for some years. And then, for some in authority to blame the Press for broadcasting details. To my mind these matters want to come under the searchlight of publicity, for if our Christian teachers act so, what sort of an example is it for the rank and file? As a subscribers to the “ Chronicle” for about .10 years I take this opportunity to pen these few lines in appreciation of your stand for truth and righteousness.—l remain, etc., r. m. Mclntosh. Bulls, June 9.
