MRS. KATHLEEN KENNEDY, The death has occurred of 'Mrs. Kathleen Kennedy, wife of Mr. M. Kennedy, of Karioi. Mrs. Kennedy, who was the daughter of Mr. Maroney, of Waipawa. was well-known throughout the district and was highly respected and loved by all who knew her. Her. death occurred suddenly when on a holiday visit to her relatives at Waipawa. Her husband and eight children are left to moArn their loss.

He was Minister of Health in the Bavin Cabinet. He was 67 years -of age.
