OBITUARY
MRS. KATHLEEN KENNEDY, The death has occurred of 'Mrs. Kathleen Kennedy, wife of Mr. M. Kennedy, of Karioi. Mrs. Kennedy, who was the daughter of Mr. Maroney, of Waipawa. was well-known throughout the district and was highly respected and loved by all who knew her. Her. death occurred suddenly when on a holiday visit to her relatives at Waipawa. Her husband and eight children are left to moArn their loss.
MR C. W. CROPPER AUSTRALIAN RACING SECRETARY Received May 22, 11.55 p.m. SYDNEY, May 22. The death has occurred of Mr C. W. Cropper, for 22 years secretary of the Australian Jockey Club, aged 72. DR. RICHARD ARTHUR Received May 22, 7.10 p.m. SYDNEY, May 22. The death is reported of Dr. Richard Arthur, a pioneer medico and a member of the State Assembly since 1904. He was Minister of Health in the Bavin Cabinet. He was 67 years -of age.
