MANGAWEKA
RUGBY FOOTBALL A meeting of the Mangaweka Football Club was held on Wednesday evening. There was a fair attendance of members present. A letter was received from the Rangitikei Football Club re the seven-a-side tournament to bo held at Bulls on May 28. As expenses would bo too high it was decided that no team be entered. It was decided that the secretary write to the Taihape Union asking that the next matches with Mangaweka be played on the homo ground. The Taihape Union have already promised that all teams visit Mangaweka and it is hoped that a game or so at home iust now may bo a great help in fostering football in Mangaweka. The Mar.gaweka junior team to play Hautapu at Taihape to-day will be picked from tho following: McKinnon. T. Blake. Brosnan Smith, Peacock. Barrell. Toland, McNiell, Johnston. Farrow, Noble, Gowan, Garrett, Dixon. Liddicoat, J. Potaka.
