AMERICA’S “GRAND OLD MAN” (New York Times Press Broadcast) SAN FRANCISCO, May 18. “Scotland’s gift to. America and to the world, one of the greatest person alities of our generation; a great Christian; a symbol of internal‘onal friendship; the grand old man of the whole world.” Alore than 2500 persons heard these final tributes to the late Captain Robert Dollar, dean of American shipping, at funeral services to-day in the little Presbyterian Church in San Rafael, which Capinin Dollar and his asso ciates built three decades ago.
