UNIVERSITY SENATE
SUSPENDED SCHOLARSHIP. [ Per Press Association. } DUNEDIN. Jan. 14. The University Senate this morning decided to refer the question of comparative religion as an optional subject for the B-A. degree to the Academic Board for consideration. After a discussion on finance it was resolved, in view of the loss of the Government’s statutory grant, to suspend the following scholarships:—Two '>“-t-g-raduare in arts, one in science, ffnd travelling scholarships, French law. architecture, engineering and' medicine unless the finances justify their award.
