TWO CYCLISTS INJURED [ Per Press Association, J LEVIN, Jan. 14. 1 Two young men, Eric Barrett and Reg. Smith, both of Wellington, were seriously injured in a collision between a motor-eyele they were riding and a car driven by Julian Foster, also of Wellington, which occurred six miles south of Levin last evening. The motor-cyclists were travelling north and when rounding a corner at I Kuku crashed into the car. Barrett received a compound fracture of the right leg, and Smith a badly crushed foot. Both are suffering from general shock. They were removed to Palmerston Hospital, where their condition was reported to be serious. The car driver was not injured, but i the ear was badly ’damaged. 2
