COMING-OF-AGE PARTY
'| About seventy guests assembled at ! the Victoria League Booms on Monday. -Fanuary 11, when Mr. and Mrs. S. 8. Dustin gave a party in honour of the coming-of-age of their eldest son, Herbert. A very'jolly evening was spent with competitions, games and dancing. Novelty dances were enjoyed by the guests, Miss B. Waters and Mr. K. Bilderbeck being the winners of the Monte Carlo waltz. The winners of the competitions were the Misses M. Signal, M. Tuffin, M. Henderson, Messrs. E. Hall, K. Bilderbeck and N. Granville. The guest of the evening responded to a toast proposed by Mr. E. Bleaset. Mr. W. 8. Dustin proposed the health of the host and hostess, and this was replied to by Mr. 8. 8. Dustin. A most enjoyable function was brought to a close in the early hours of the morning by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne. ’ ’ Those present wore Mr. and Mrs. S. 8.
