WARSHIP AT TAURANGA
THE VERONICA’S VISIT TAUBANGA, Jan. 12. H.M.S. Veronica arrived at Tauranga yesterday. Commander Morgan was officially welcomed by the Mayor, Mr. B. C. Robbins, and representatives of the various public bodies. The vessel will be here for a week. Tho officers will visit Te Puke and Lake Rotoiti, and rifle shooting, lawn tennis and cricket matches have been arranged for the ship’s company.
