THE MARKET STILL FIRM Received Nov. 24, 9.40 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 24. At the wool sales the market was firm with good general competition and slightly increased support from the United States of America. Greasy Merino made 18}d. A total of 10,531 bales were offered, of which 9,391 bales were sold and 1208 disposed of privately. The average price of wool sol-1 last week was £l2 15s fid per bale, equal to lOd a pound.
