BULLS
WOMEN’S DIVISION. The usual monthly meeting of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was held on Monday, October 12. Present: Mesdames Goodall (in the chair), Escott, Gray, Doughty, Green, Anderson, Campion, Walker and Stevenson.
The secretary reported that one new member had been enrolled; also that one housekeeper was employed in the district. Mesdames Goodall and Anderson reported on the Bush Nurse and Housekeeper meeting held in Palmerston North.
There was a long discussion regarding the proposed "Rest Home.” The new book of rules was received, this having been revised up to date, and the division has now been registered as an incorporated body. The supply of "Household Guides” was quickly disposed of.
The next meeting will be held on November 9. RANGITIKEI FACTORY The directors of the Rangitikei Dairy Co., Ltd., met this week and decided to pay suppliers at the rate of one shilling per pound for finest grade supplied during the mouth of September.
