FIRST ACRE GALLOPS
NEW ZEALANDER LOOKS WELL. Received Oct. 14. 11.5 p.m. MELBOURNE, Oct. 14. First Acre galloped ten furlongs on the grass in 2.18 at Mentone to-day. He looks well. A. Knox rides Denis Boy in the Cup. Forty-one visiting horses will race at thCup carnival, including five New Zealanders.
