MR. HOOVER AND M. LAVAL. BRITAIN VERY INTERESTED. LONDON, Oct. 12. The. hasty return to Washington from London of Sir Robert Lindsay (British Ambassador) has a special significance in connection with the Hoover-Laval conversations. He will keep Downing Street in the closest touch with negotiations which, it is believed hero, will be of the most vital importance in the world crisis; indeed, likely to initiate a world movement to solve the economic difficulties.
