NEW SEASON’S COLLARS
Many pretty and dainty collars arc seen in the shops as the season goes on. Square necks, V necks, round necks, are all fashionable, while among the new lines, and one which increases in popularity, is the new “cowl” col-lar—-or “hatter,” as it is called by some. This type of collar looks very smart, but some women experience ilifHculty in making it lie flat. A simple and efficacious method of achieving this is to sew a little tab in front containing a weight (a coin would serve admirably). The tab, of the same material as the collar, of course, could be embroidered and would thus act as a decorative medium as well as a weight to keep the cowl in I place.
