SOUTH AMERICAN STATES LONG-STANDING DISPUTE I *By Telegraph —Press Association—Copyright) Received Sept. 27, 5.5 p.m. LAPAZ (Bolivia), Sept. 26. War in the western hemisphere is reported to-night between Bolivian and Paraguyan troops in the disputed frontier zone of tho Gran Chaco region. Six Paraguayans are reported killed and many wounded. The Bolivian casualties are not reported. This battle is ono of the serious incidents which have been agitating the two countries for 50 years in pressing rival claims for the rich unexplored territory lying along their borders.
