OBITUARY
THE EARL OF ORFORD [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, Sept. 27. The death has occurred of the Earl of Orford, aged 76, who camo to tho Dominion at tho end of 1928 for the benefit of his health. He purchased a property at Manurcwa, where he lived with the Countess of Orford and one daughter. The body will be embalmed and sent to England. FAMOUS FRENCH ARTIST Received Sept. 27, 5.5 p.m. PARIS, Sept. 26. The death has occurred at Saint Brieuc of tho famous artist Augusteo Mttissee, who dropped dead when making the last stroke of the brush, completing a picture.
