TENNIS PARTY.
On Saturday afternoon a very enjoyable tennis party was given by the Misses M. and T. Smith, at their home, Halswell Street, in honour of Miss M. Hanton, who is shortly to be married. During the afternoon Miss Hanton’s friends took the opportunity oi wishing for every happiness and presenting her with various gifts for use in her home. Tennis games were enjoyed, and after an interval, when a dainty afternoon tea was partaken of, games were resumed. Among those present were: Mrs. J. B. Smith, Mrs. F. Goodey, Mrs. R. Tizard, Misses Hanton, Treadwell (2), Key, Brailsford .(2), Walker; Messrs Tizard, Walker (2), Lancaster and Glenny.
