The Geraldine Racing Club’s meeting concluded to-day, solid showers up to the sixth race making the track heavy. The attendance was good and the totalisator handled £7217, compared with £10,218 10s on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £14,623 10s, against £19,007 last year. Desert Song held in the race to the post, beating Mount Boa by half a length. Stewards’ Stakes. (Of £110; six furlongs). Rascal, Quantum and Limited were smartest out but Arrowmir soon took charge and was never caught, winning by two lengths, with Sleipner the same distance ahead of Rascal.
