JOHN’S HILL SHOOTING POLICE CONNECT THREE INCIDENTS The correct names of “Air and Mrs Winstone,” who were arrested at the Terminus Hotel, New Plymouth, juu Saturday last and were later remanded to Wellington on charges in connection with the Miramar hold-ups, are John Morton and Florence Jane Cooper. Both nave jived in Wanganui for some time, Mrs Cooper for seven years. Mr Morton was employed lor a period by a wood contractor on St. John’s Hill. Both left Wanganui un the Thursday before the incident at Wellington, and returned on last Tuesday week. They stayed at one of the leading hotels, the names being entered as Air and Airs Winstone. On Monday, Detective Walsh went to New Plymouth, and as a result of that visit the woman, Cooper, will appear at the Wanganui Alagistrate’s Court, in connection with the St. John’s Hill (Wanganui) affair, when a \ • od contractor, Clifford Organ, was shot in the leg and taken to hospital.
