NEWSPAPER STRIKE
PERTH PAPERS PUBLISHING Received Aug. 14, 11.15 p.m. PERTH, Aug. 14. With the help of the heads of departments, typists, and other free labour, the newspaper West Australian produced an cight-page issue to day. The afternoon paper, the Daily News, is managing to produce a small paper in similar fashion. Strikers are picketing both offices.
The West Australian received 300 applications from skilled operators and others offering their services.
