LUCKY ESCAPE
A STEEPLEJACK’S FALL. LONDON, Aug. 12. A steeplejack named Percy Gale fell iron: a 100 ft. chimney stack at Banstead Hospital. He crashed through the roof and Hid down a coal heap and landed on the floor of the boilerhouse. He miraculously escaped with fractures of both legs.
