VELOCITY OF 63 MILES AN HOUR [ Per Press Association. ] ’’ CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 12. A fierce nor’-west gale is raging in v Canterbury to-day, attaining a velocity of 63 miles an hour. r MAN SEVERELY INJURED CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 12. T. Low, of Rangiora, a builder’s labourer, has been admitted to hospital with severe internal injuries caused by a. fall due to the gale blowing over a ladder on which he was working.
