Cause of Cancer
AN IMPORTANT DISCOVERY LONDON RESEARCH WORKERS [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.] Received Aug. 12, 7.12 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 12. It is announced that the persistent efforts of research workers at the London cancer hospital have resulted in the discovery of a pure substance of known structure that produces cancer in a large and constant proportion of cases. This is considered as an advance of the first magnitude towards a knowledge of the combination of factors that make the incidence of cancer possible.
