OBITUARY
MR LEWIK BAUMBERG AUSTRALIA’S OLDEST JEW Recent 1 Aug. 12, 10.2 op,.m. SYDENY, Aug. 12. The death has occurred of Mr Lewik Baumberg, aged 105, said to be the oldest Jew in Australia. He was born at Warsaw, where he was engaged in mercantile pursuits. He came to Australia at the age of 65 and has resided here ever since. His family is noted for their longevity. His mother died at the age of 115.
