BEASTS THAT ARE REBORN INDIAN ASTROLOGER’S VIEW. AL CAPONE AND THE JUNGLE. That wild beasts, which have long been killed and cannot bo born again owing to the practical destruction of their species, have now been obliged to take human form and arc born as the typical killers and gangsters in this world is the conclusion of Pundit Ramakaut, an Indian astrologer, why has been on a long visit to America and Europe. So states the writer of an article—penned in India —in the New York Herald Tribune. He says:— The Indian system of astrology has a curious section called the Avaka-Hada-Chakra, or the Wheel of Life and Form, which shows the particular species of animals a human being belongs to, according to the constellation of the moon under which he is born. Another minor branch of this indicates the mentality of the individual, judged by the constellation in which the moon happens to be at the time of his birth. There are several species mentioned, such as the elephant, the tiger, the cobra, the rat, the horse, the cow and the dog. Dual Natures Exp ained. Very often the two constellations — the constellation of the sign, rising at the time of birth, and the constellation of the moon—differ and indifate a double influence, so that while the physical body may have the tiger qualities of cruelty, the mind may be that of a rat, squeamish, cowardly, flinching. This type of individual would be cruel to those who are under his power and subservient to those under whom he works. Pundit Ramakaut thought that in the New World he would come across new forms of evo.ved humanity, types which would have little chance of development in the steady groove of settled undisturbed life in the East, but which could easily express themselves freely in the atmosphere pre-' vailing in America. A study of American life has convinced Pundit Ramakaut that, owing to the very freedom existing in America, new types of human beings are born there. During his tours he collected as much data as he could and found that the Indian Astrological Wheel of Life and Form gave wonderful results when applied to tho astrological horoscopes east of the types now seen in America. The Moon of Al Cap«ne. For instance, Al Capone’s moon happens to have been placed in the constellation Shata-taraka, which immedi-

ately indicated that the mental quality of this type of individual is taken from that of the elephant, lording it over tho jungle. At the same time tho physical body was controlled at tho time of birth by the constellation Phalguni, which indicated tiger species. The physical instincts would be that of the killer of the jungle, ruthless, ferocious, deadly, but the mentality of the elephant would utilise tjio physical instincts' with cunning. The cobra species of tho human beings would be the first to take to spying, the profession of detection, not ferocious and furious like the tiger, but the more deadly because of their very nature. Pundit Ramakaut says ho has at least 10 different horoscopes of celebrated detectives in America and has found that.in all these cases either their moon or the rising sign indicated the cobra species. The "gold diggers of Broadway,” on the other hand, come from the four constellations which indicate the deer species. To anybody who knows of the ravages committed by deer on crops, the idea of these beautiful creatures, wide-eyed, charming, graceful, but destructive of greens and crops, is not unfamiliar. The nature, characteristics and habits of the “gold diggers,” Pundit Ramakaut asserts, are typical of the deer species and are living examples of the truth of the old teachings. Beings of the Bear Type. The type of human being who manages to be completely "wet” even in a prohibition country like the United States is indicated by tho "bear” species, fond of the honey of life, regardless of the amount he consumes, with a hide thick enough to withstand all criticism—in fact, a typical representative of the tippler. The steady growth of the human population of the world is thus accounted for. according to this pundit astrologer, by the equally steady diminution of the population of the jungles. It is necessary, ho asserts, if there is to be evolution that these unevolved souls should be born in human form in order that their spiritual growth should be forced up in tho present human society. , Like hothouse plants, the growth of these beings will be intensified, while their animal natures will gradually wither, owing to the absence of surroundings necessary to preserve these qualities. Their presence would naturally disturb human society for the time being, and Chicago and New York and other cities with the freedom* they enjoy would be the first to suffer.
