TO CONFER IN LONDON PROBLEMS FOR CONSIDERATION [British Official Wireless.] RUGBY, Aug. 10. Mr Ramsay MacDonald is returning to London by train to-night. It is understood that he wishes to gain closer touch with the current state of business. It is his intention to sec as many Ministers as are in London to-morrow. The whole general situation, both political and financial, is expected to engage the attention of Mr MacDonald and his colleagues for the next day or two. Mr Snowden will probably return to London from his home at Trilford (Surrey). It was previously arranged that Mr MacDonald should come south for a meeting on August 24 of the Cabinet sub committee which is to consider the report of the Econ- my Committee. It is not possible to say if thecs arra* gements will be modified, or if the subcommittee will meet earlier, but the economy report is bound to bo one of the leading subjects under discussion between Ministers. It is believed that the Prime Minister hopes to transact the immediate business in hand within a day or two and return to Lossiemouth.
