A SPRING VEGETABLE DISH
Prepare and cook each 1 teacupful peas, carrots and turnip, and I small cauliflower pulled into sprays. Cut small and keep hot. Chop 3 small onions and fry in 3ozs butter for 5 minutes, then add 2 toaspoonsful curry powder, pinch of salt. 1 teacupful water and a little lemon junce. Cook for hour. Add the vegetables and cook slowly; then add one dessertspoonful flour, mixed with milk till smooth; boil for three minutes, then pour on a dish. Place a border of boiled rice round and place some poached eggs on top.
