TO-DAY’S RUGBY. The following have been selected io represent Bulls seniors against Huntcrville, at Hunterville, this afternoon:— Preston, Harper, Wereta, Ellery, Dais, Dwyer, Bartlett, J. Homes, L. F. Homes, Cutts, Richardson, R. Cameron, Gallagher, Halford and D. Cameron. RANGITIKEI LADIES’ GOLF CLUB. On Thursday afternoon a stroke coni petition was played for Mrs MeDonell’s trophy, the winner being Miss R. McKelvie, whose card read: 106—30—76. The runner-up was Airs Mackay. 95—18—77. On Friday next a team will visit the Rangitira (Hunterville) Club. LODGE MEETINGS. The fortnightly meeting of members of Loyal Bulls Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., was held in Bulls on Monday evening, N.G. Sister Stephen presiding over a fair attendance of members. Advice was received from Loyal \Vhanganui Lodge that there was a previous *,hallengc in for the Salek Cup, and that the Bulls challenge would be dealt with after Monday, June 29. V.G. Bro. Whitley reported visiting the Lodge in Palmerston North, and spending a very enjoyable evening. Bro. Forbes asked to be relieved of the quarter owing to eye trouble. The fortnightly meeting of Rangitikei Lodge, No. 14, 1.0.0. F., was held on Thursday night, N.G Bro. Clark pre siding over a fair attendance of members. Correspondence was received as follows:—From Palmerston North U.F.S. Dispensary, advising that a few 6 per cent, debentures are still available. From Grand Lodge, advising that the Hawke’s Bay Earthquake appeal will be closed on June 36. and requesting that any Lodges which still have contributions to same should forward them as soon as possible. Brs. J. Dwyer and A. Murray were appointed to lake charge of the euchre next Lodge night. .It was resolved that the outgoing Junior P.G.’s be presented with a certificate, and any P.G. who has not received one, and is desirous of having a certificate, is requested to apply to the secretary. P.B. Bro. Petersen reported that Bio Kemp had attended to the Hall repairs. After next meeting a ritual practice wi l ! be held. The euchre trophy for the evening was won by K. Dwyer, after playingoff with J. Dwyer. GENERAL NEWS. “On Approval” will be shown at the Town Hall this evening. A meeting of the Bulls-Sanson Reform Party will be held in Bulls on Tuesday. A fourth grade match will be playe-i at Bulls to-day between Bulls and Ath letic clubs. The match will commence at 2.45 p.m.
