FLEECE COMPETITION
ROMNEY UROSS SHEEP. CHAMPIONSHIP TO T. AND J. CURRIE. The annual fleece competition held by the Wanganui branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union was judged yesterday at the Wanganui Winter Show by Air R. Brown. Competition was held in four ciasses of Romney-cross sheep ranging from 40 to 48 and over. Following are the results; — Champion fleece; T. and J. Currie. 40’s class; 'J’, ami J. Currie 1; .Elliott Bros. 2. 44’s class; D. Ross 1; T. and J. Cur rie 2. 46’s class: Eliott Bros 1; !. and J. Currie 2. 48 and over class; 'l', and J. Currie I: F. A. Iluwyler 2.
