WOMEN AND BILLIARDS
Why are there no great women billiards players? is a question that has been asked. Women are constantly challenging mon in so many forms of sport—and in more serious things as well—that it seems rather astonishing that they are so much behind men players in this game. But the fact remains that they are. In a recent women’s amateur billiards championship contest the highest break made by the winner of the title was 28. And breaks of 12 and 13 were considered good.
