THE CRICKET TEST
LION AND MOA TO MEET RIVAL ELEVENS AT LORD'S In spite of the fact that England’s team for the Test match against New Zealand, to bo played at Lord’s to-day and on Monday and Tuesday, was announced a week ago, tho New Zealand representatives will not be named until just before the match commences. However, it is possible to make a fairly accurate guess as to the personnel of the New Zealand team, and it is likely that the two teams will be as follows: D. R. Jardine (Surrey), captain. K. S. iDuleepsinhji (Sussex). I. A. R. Peebles (Middlesex). R. AV. V. Robins (Middlesex). F. E. Woolley (Kent) AV. R. Hammond (Gloucestershire). H. Larwood (Nottinghamshire). AV. A 7 oce (Nottinghamshire). L. Ames (Kent). A H. Bakewell (Northamptonshire). J. Arnold (Hampshire). M. Nichol (AVorcestershirc), 12th. man. J. E. Mills (Auckland). A. M. Matheson (Auckland). 11. G. Vivian (Auckland). G. L. AVeir (Auckland). C. S. Dempster (Wellington). K. C. James (Wellington). T. C. Lowry (Wellington) captain. I. B. Cromb (Canterbury). AV. E. Merritt (Canterbury). Al. L. Page (Canterbury). R. C. Blunt (Otago). It will thus be seen that Kerr, Talbot and Allcott are omitted, and Kerr is the most likely to be 12th man.
