SHOW CLOSES TO-DAY

MULTITUDE OF SIDESHOWS BUCK JUMPING THIS AFTERNOON. With the greaest array of side-show attractions for a number of years tb* Wanganui Winter Show presented W busy scene last evening. Crowns thronged “skittle alley,” and the Home Industries shed. There was a steady attendance throughout the day, while in the evening, naturally, the number was considerably increased. I o-day will be the final day and tho attendance should be the best of tht three. There are plenty of attractions) while the exhibits in the Homo Industrie's shed will be a centre of interest. To-day will be the last dav of tho exhibition of the Wanganui Toy Dog Club. There is much there to interest the children, while thoes who have appreciation of the toy dog will find in the show some particularly fine specimens. Many will find interest in tho talk of the showmen, while others will “go and see.” There is every kind of amusement, and all tastes are catered for. One of the greatest attractions of the t whole show will be the buck-jumping competitions this afternoon. Post entries are to be taken and no doubt some of tho best of the district’s courageous horsemen will be competing. The final is timed for three o’clock. The will continue to-night.
