As a result of a Alagisterial inquiry declaring the decision of a poll on the statutory half-holiday in tho Borough of Waipukurau null and void due to tho misleading wording of tho voting paper and other irregularities, a special poll was held to-day resulting: Wednesday (present day) .. .. 545 Saturday _ 2S» Alajority 157 There are 131 declaration votes to conic, which cannot affect the poll.
