AUSTRALIAN FINANCES STRONG LABOUR OPPOSITION SCULLIN LOSING SUPPORT LABOUR EXECUTIVE THREATS [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] Received Juno 2, 11.50 p.m. CANBERRA, June 24. As the Debt Conversion Agreement Bill in the House of Representatives progresses more and more, members of Mr Scullin’s party declare themselves uncompromisingly against the rehabilitation plan wherof this measure is the first instalment. It is believed that when the vote is taken tho Government, will require the full support of the Opposition in order to carry the day. A Alelbourne message states that the State Labour Executive forwarded an ultimatum to the Premier, Air Hogan, also Air Jones, Minister of Public Works, that unless they opposed the reduction in wages and pensions under the Premiers’ Conference financial plan their endorsements as Labour candidates would he cancelled. It is reported that other Labourites in the Victorian Parliament contemplate supcase their endorsements will be withcase their endorsements wil be withheld in the event of a crisis, which is regarded as inevitable.
