KING’S CROWN IN DITCH
— The crown of Irakly, lasi king of Iho Georgians, has been found by peasants in a ditch near the Causacian village of Choka-Gorlu. Valued at £lO,OOO, tho crown disappeared from a museum after the revolution. The crown of the Queen, which has also been missing since 1917, has not been discovered. Georgia was a king dorn until 1801. when it was annexed by Russia. In 1918 it was proclaimed a republic and was overrun by Bolshe viks.
