FIRE AT TIMARU
MUSIC SHOP DAMAGED. [Per Press Association.] TIMARU, June 23. At about 10.15 to-night a fire was discovered in the workroom in the upstairs portion of promises occuniml by Charles Begg and Co., Stafford Street and the Arcade. The flames had a strong hold when the brigade arrived, but a good presuro of water quickly subdued the outbreak. Damage by water to stock in the shop beneath was very heavy. The building was owed by Air L Al c Keown, Insurances arc not available.
