Stocks and Deliveries The Dairy Board has received advice that the imports of butter into Britain during June arc estimated to total 35,000 to 36.000 boxes. There is likely to be a substantial increase during June and July. The Empire Marketing Board’s estimate of stocks of all butter at June 13 was 620,000 boxes, as compared with 1,030.833 boxes a year ago. Deliveries of New Zealand butter for the week ended Thursday were 1466 tons, as against 910 tons a year ago. The quantity in store, excluding 250 tons, ex Tamaroa, is 5433 tons, as compared with 10,688 tons a year ago. Deliveries of Australian butter for the week were 1176 tons, as against 1512 tons, and the quantity in store is 2792 tons, as compared with 3550 tons a year ago. Canadian Butter in Britain After a lengthy absence, Canada has reappeared in the London butter market. The Dairy Board has received advice that 14,000 boxes of Canadian butter arrived last week, and another 5000 boxes arc expected to arrive this week. The price is quoted 104 s to 106 s c.i.f., or 108 s landed. During the first week in May, Canadian exports of butter to Britain included 1113 box'es of New Zealand butter. British imports of Canadian butter during 1928 were 102 tons, and in 1929 one ton only. The Rotorua and Rangitikei, which sailed last week for London, took 102,448 boxes of butter and 22,768 crates of cheese from tho Dominion.
